This is a LIVE class over Google Meet. I will walk you step-by-step through drawing characters in different poses in Procreate on the iPad, and then bringing those poses into Canva. We will go over:
Basics of sketching different poses for a simple character
Making the character look consistent across poses
Coloring the final version in flat colors
File size / resolution / how to save out for best quality
Pulling those poses into Canva
 
** CLASS REQUIREMENTS **
iPad that uses Apple Pencil
Procreate app installed on iPad
Canva app installed on iPad (you only need the free account, but if you want to sign up for pro, here's my affiliate link!)
 
** OPTIONAL **
If you don't have a "paperlike" screen protector, I highly recommend it for an ipad you use for drawing! It will give your ipad a rougher texture which feels more like paper when you draw. Here's the one I use (it only costs $6.29 for two!!)
 
The class will work best if you create along with me, so if you are able to have a second screen, that would be ideal.
If you have a computer, you can join on that so that you can see what I'm doing, while working on your own project on an iPad.
Or, you can join the class on your phone, and screencast the class to a smart TV.
